Anvil Campground is the only campground to have a bus stop from the Williamsburg Area Transport bus service.  It links visitors to area attractions including, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, shopping and restaurants throughout the city.

Bus Fares

• $1.25 to board and $0.25 to connect

• Summer Special pending: $1.50 for all day!

• Persons who are (60 and over) and/or disabled with a Medicare card can ride for $.50 cents.

• Children under 6 who do not occupy a seat and are accompanied by an adult - no charge!

Jamestown/Yorktown Connect

• March 1-October

• Pick up/Drop off location: Colonial Williamsburg.  The bus can be taken from our campground to Colonial Williamsburg in order to make this connection.

• Picks up every 30 minutes

Operational Hours: Monday - Saturday

• 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (November 1-March31)

• 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. (April 1-October 31)

• The bus picks up every 0:47 of the hour and drops off every 0:14 of the hour.

• New Year's Day (January 1)

• Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November)

• Christmas Eve (December 24)

• Christmas Day (December 25)
